FAQ's about the GatorTape Curtain Claw
What is the Curtain Claw and what does it do?
It's a clever accessory designed exclusively for use with the GatorTape. The Curtain Claw allows you to measure curtain drops without bending the blade or second-guessing your reading—just hook it on, drop the tape, lock it, and read the measurement through GatorTape’s viewing window.
How does it attach, and how is it used?
Attach the Claw to your GatorTape's end hook, hook it into curtain rings or gliders, drop the blade, unlock to extend, and observe the measurement in the top-mounted window.
Which versions of GatorTape is the Claw compatible with?
The Claw fits all current GatorTape versions (Metric, Imperial, or Dual). A new version specifically for GatorTape 2.0 (MK2.0) is coming soon.
Why should I use the Curtain Claw?
It simplifies curtain drop measurements, makes them more accurate, and removes the need for bending tape or assistance. Measurement is then captured directly through the GatorTape’s viewing window.
